Inventory is a big problem. Many available properties are overpriced or entry level homes. There is little to buy in the middle market. This is leading some homeowners to put additions on their existing homes. Rick talks about adding a contingency for the seller to find and close on suitable housing. Home prices are up while number of sales are down. Closings are taking longer on average. Buyers are looking for smaller units with more outdoor space, co-working spaces and other amenities.
